I can't seem to get my gardening groove on this year, but I did throw a few plants and seeds out there to fend for themselves!  It appears that things are growing and it is actually quite lovely in its own haphazard, wild sort of way...

Mother's Day Camp Out Weekend...

One of my most favorite weekends of the year...

I have, over the years, come to appreciate Florida's natural beauty...

And I have to admit that I also enjoyed this other (decidedly unnatural) part of Florida too...

Carolina basketball, live music (The Districts were AMAZING!!), a few shots of tequila... and dear friends (including my ever patient husband!) who love me for who I am... that's how I turned 40!!  It was a great night and I'm very much looking forward to this new decade...
