The countdown...

The academic year is looming on the horizon and this fact has been creeping into my thoughts on a regular basis.  We still have some time left so I'm wanting to be mindful with my time.  I have a birthday party to plan, a few fun things on our summer to do list to enjoy, a fall garden to consider, and a sewing project or two to work on (though sewing in the summer doesn't seem to be a natural fit for me... too much to do outside and traveling and pool time and such!).  I also think a few more lazy summer days are in order.  All that is simply to say that the countdown has begun... and it's time to savor these dog days of summer!
